DIGITAL ART=ACTIVISM
Curated by: Molly Parkinson, Zoe Wendling, Tonia Hong, Kshaunish Addala
Cyberactivism is defined as a form of activism that uses the internet and digital media as key platforms for mass mobilization and political action (Britannica, 2025). Our curation examines the ways in which artists from various minority groups use their digital platforms to raise awareness and increase visibility of important issues that may be hidden in the shadows. The pieces chosen for this curation reflect different styles and diverse communities that reflect their struggles, responses, and how they use art to fight for equity.
